Lovable Losers, I really enjoyed your in-depth analysis of Ichiro's hitting.

I would like to add that Ichiro is traditionally a slow starter; his career BA in April is the lowest of any month (.301). In 2004, he batted .255 in April and rebounded to have a career year and hit .372.

Judging from his play of late (7 hits in his last 3 games), he should be on track for another solid year. If I owned Adrian Beltre though, I'd be worried...
