Sportsline is reporting that Jordan Tata may stay with the big club when Todd Jones is activated on Friday. and that Chris Spurling may be sent down instead.

Leyland is being coy about it.

Is Tata worth a gamble if he remains? He was Detroit's minor league pitcher of the year in '05.

if you have a REALLLLLLLLY deep roster, i'd say there's a 1% chance that he could end up in the rotation at some point...other than that, i guess he could have minimal value in holds leagues
