Just want to guage the cafe members thoughts on Hanley Ramirez vs Clint Barmes from a fantasy standpoint this year. Let's add another option to this debate, Ian Kinsler who is eligible at SS in some leagues looked pretty solid before getting hurt.

I personally like Barmes but just thought since Ramirez has been hot the past couple days that I'd bring up this debate on young SS. I guess we could add Peralta into the mix but obviously he'd win this debate hands down....
I voted for the Marlins lead-off hitter H-Ram. He will have 100 runs or more, 20 or more steals, and hit for a .300 or better AVG. I know it's only April, but let us compare Barmes current numbers to H-Ram's.
It looks to me like H-Ram will edge Barmes in steals and average, while posting similar numbers in the other catagories. This is why I voted for H-Ram.
Ramirez for me, I personally think Barmes is kind of over rated. I mean Ramirez will smoke him in SB and Ramirez should hit for better avg then Barmes maybe hit slightly less HR than Barmes. I don't think Barmes can repeat what he did last year, just look at his numbers after he get back from his injury.
