seems like he's starting to pitch a little better, at least from looking at the box scores. he was an elite MR last year and is barely owned in most leagues I'm in. time to pick him up?

absolutely.

I have had him the last three years. He really helps in keeping the ERA and WHIP in check and even picks up a win or save sometimes. I always have him in the lineup.

He's one of the elite MR guys in baseball - Shields, Rincon, Linebrink, Duchscherer (ignoring today's blowup), Wheeler...there are probably a few others people could name as well. All of them do exactly what big D mentioned - they help control your era/whip while giving you good k/9 (important in roto leagues with max ip) and usually posting a good number of wins per ip as well.
