Our biggest weakness

To me, it's clear. Besides only really having a rotation that goes 3 1/2 deep, our biggest weakness HAS to be our bench. With Floyd and Beltran sidelined for a few days, and our 2 runs in 21 innings, to me we need to have a bench that is stronger than Valentin, Chavez, and Woodward (though Woodward has been our 'offense' the last 2 days.

I don't have too much of a problem with Woodward as a bench guy, but on the whole I agree with what you say.

I'd rather have Diaz playing in the OF than either Valentin or Chavez.

I like Woodward a lot because of his flexibility. Valentin needs to go. The bench could be better but my vote goes to Zambrano for the Mets biggest problem. I think it's time to give up and give Maine a shot (he couldn't be much worse) and hope Pelfrey can pitch in the 2nd half.

Yeah, Zambrano is awful. He and the bench are two low points, but I have to agree, Zambrano is horrible. He needs to be out of the rotation.

We also can't have everyone slumping at the same time either.
