Derrek Lee left tonight's game in the seventh inning with a right wrist injury following a collision with Rafael Furcal at first base. It looked pretty bad at first, but Lee didn't seem to be in a lot of pain as he left. Lee got his right wrist trapped between his body and Furcal's while he was standing at first bsae awaiting a throw. We'll label him day-to-day for now. If he needs to miss a few games, the Cubs will play Todd Walker at first and go with Jerry Hairston Jr. and Neifi Perez at second.

Derrek Lee's injury is being called a sprained right wrist. X-rays were inconclusive.
If Lee has a break, he'd likely miss at least four to six weeks and we might see Brandon Sing called up to platoon with Todd Walker at first base. There's atill reason to hope it's just a day-to-day injury for Lee. Apr. 20 - 1:29 am et
