I just hope it's college pitching for the first few rounds. Right now there's a gap between the majors and A-ball really with the exception of a few guys.
The only legit pitching prospects I see at Richmond and Mississippi are:
AAA - Lerew, Boyer (DL), Devine (DL)
AA - Will Startup, Manny Acosta, Paul Bush
Now down at Myrtle Beach, we've got some studs, but not nearly ready this year, if even next.
Jake Stevens, Jose Ascanio, Matt Harrison, Luis Atilano
And at Rome, there's Beau Jones & Jo-Jo Reyes. Nobody of note at Danville or with the GCL Braves (other than Devine on rehab), though there's several college guys for a gem in the rough maybe.
At any rate, I think we need to pick up some more college pitching that could be ready to go next season even. Thomson's likely gone, we don't how Ramirez will pitch, and Sosa is back to being the D-Rays version of Sosa.
