My team is currently 5th in a 10 team league. i have suffered problems such as a poor draft and having to deal with Urbina not being a closer. currently people in my league are trying to trade with me...i have seen trades such as.

i give ichiro and i will get T. Hudson
or even...R. Durham / C. Lidle for M. Tejada
and A. Jones for Piniero

i dont know what trades to take or decline...and i dont know what moves to make...i believe my team needs better pitching but any HELP and Any Reply is Really needed.

First I'm gonna tell you who to drop and who you might want to add:

Drop: Jason Grimsley add Brendan Donnelly (if available. Otherwise somebody like Roberto Hernandez or so for the Holds)

Drop: Brad Wilkerson
Add: Jay Payton, Kenny Lofton, Reggie Sanders, Podsdenik, Fick or so. These guys are all better than Wilkerson.

You have a lot of speed in your lineup: Castillo, Damon and Ichiro
Try and trade some of that speed for some power, cause right now your only power sources are the slumping Troy Glaus and Edgar Martinez.

Don't trade away Pineiro, he's carrying your pitching staff right now. See if you can package Marquis Grissom and Ramon Ortiz into a deal for Andruw Jones. (You might have to give up a little more for him, but it's worth a try)

See if you can package Johnny Damon and Jason Jennings into a deal fora better starter. Maybe you can get Tim Hudson or so. Hang on to Maddux, he seems to have turned things around.

If you can find Geoff Jenkins on the wire or FA list somewherem then go ahead and add him.

As for pitching help, you might find some on the FA list or WW. Check for Jerome Williams, Horacio Ramirez, Brandon Webb or maybe Rich Harden (A's top prospect) I would unload Jake Peavy for one of those guys. Williams or Webb are the best of those.
