Noah Lowry (strained abdominal muscle) will pitch Wednesday for Triple-A Fresno. If all goes well, Lowry is scheduled to come off the disabled list next Monday and start that night against the Houston Astros.

Noah Lowry pronounced himself ready to return to the San Francisco Giants' rotation.
Lowry, on the disabled list since April 7 with a strained muscle in his right side, gave up three runs and five hits in six innings for the Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies in their 7-3 victory over the Tucson Sidewinders on Wednesday night. It was his second rehab start. He walked one and struck out six.
Lowry, who allowed all three runs in the first inning, said he expects to rejoin the Giants and pitch Monday when the team returns home to face the Houston Astros.
"I think I'm ready to get going," Lowry said. "Everything felt good. There was an inning ... I thought maybe it'd tighten up, but it stayed warm and loose. It held up strong."
Lowry lasted 1 2-3 innings in his only start this season before going on the DL. He made a rehab start for Class-A San Jose last week and struck out nine in 4 2-3 scoreless innings

And that couldn't have anything to do with their stud being out for six weeks?
