yeah that's what i heard too, i was thinking of picking him up and putting him in one of my dl spots but now i'm leaning more towards using that spot to stash carl pavano, what do you expect from lowry this year after he comes back from his injury?
NEWS: April 21 STATUS: 15-day Dl SKINNY: Lowry (oblique) threw an 11-minute bullpen session on Thursday at nearly full intensity, the Giants' official site reports. The Giants are using a technique called interventional radiology to speed up the healing process - it involves, among other things, where the cortisone shots are injected.

Lowry getting ready: Giants starter Noah Lowry, who has been on the disabled list since April 7 with a right oblique strain, will likely make his first rehab start Friday, possibly in San Jose.
Lowry threw 70 pitches in a long bullpen session Saturday and will pitch in a simulated game today, which will likely entail another 60 to 70 pitches.
Lowry said he felt no discomfort and said he's ready to move forward.
"There was no tightness. I don't feel anything at all,'' Lowry said. "That's a big positive."

An injury-prone inconsistent 30 year old pitcher with a career record of 61-64 and a career era of 4.27 gets the nod over a 25 year old potential ace with huge fantasy potential? (13 wins, 3.78 ERA and 172 Ks last year)
You're nuts...
