Shawn Chacon coming off the DL vs the GIANTS and Schmidt. Would you start him?

I wouldn't start him. Too risky after coming off the DL. Wait and see how he pitches tonight and then make a judgement for his next start.

Absolutely not. His numbers only look decent right now, because of his torrid April, with his 1.04 ERA. Since then, he has posted ERAs of 5.66 and 6.06 in May and June, plus is coming off an injury and facing a decent offense. Basically, he is total waiver garbage, and is going to pitch like his 5.05 career ERA indicates the rest of the way. I'd trade him and if you can't get value for him, drop his ASAP.

generally, you want to avoid pitchers named "shawn" like the plague. trust me on this one.

Made 2 trade offers for him. The first is Biggio, V. Wells, Chacon for Soriano and Padilla. The second Chacon for Jeff Kent. And no I didnt start him. Thanks for the Advice.
