MLB 06: The Show (somewhat interesting)

i got this game last week and it's awesome. i haven't played mlb2k6 but by all the reviews on the internet, mlb2006 is the best baseball game out this year. i have mvp06 and that was fun for awhile but i'd much rather play 2006.

the guy who mentioned baserunning and the guy who mentioned accidently stealing bases, you just aren't using the controls correctly. i'll admit the baserunning controls are kind of awkward, but the more i play, the better i am getting at it. i wish the running was more like the MVP series though, where the computer auto runs the bases and the user can overide their decisions. in this game you pretty much have to do everything yourself, or put it on auto running.

all that aside, this game rules.

the other thing that is irritating is the fielding. like sometimes if you are running straight for a ball, the fielder will let it go right by them. you have to slow up to field it correctly. and sometimes when i'm going for a ball over the fielder's head in the outfield, i'll try to slow up to catch it, and it will go over their head. same as baserunning though, the more you play, the better you get at it. it just takes some getting used to.
