No One Wants Vazquez

I don't really have a true 1B, i use a combo of Kent and Fick, so I really could use Sweeney, but i do feel like Vazquez is worth a bit more than that.

The only other player he has that I wants is Pujols, would that be too much to ask for though?

I was thinking I could throw in Jermaine Dye, because my outfield is still stacked.

So it would be Vazuez + Dye for Pujols

How does that trade sound?

If Dye is expendanle, that sounds like a good proposal. You could then either use Pujols at 1b, or trade him to someone who needs a 3b for an even better 1b.

Vazquez for Pujols straight up wouldn't be entirely unreasonable either, though.

I'll give it a go then, I don't really need Dye, he barely gets a start anyway.

By the way, I was thinking about getting Troy Percival off FA if the trade happens, because I could use another reliever. That should make up the gap in my roster nicely.

Definitely. In roto, at least, I'd rather have Percival than Dye anyway...

If Percival is on the Free Agent wire, that is ridiculous! You must not have too many teams in your league.

As for Vasquez. Sweeney sounds fair in the sense that Vasquez pitches well, but doesn't get the wins. I would hold tight and see if any injuries creep up and someone needs to fill a need. That is if you can be patient?

Yeah, I am in no hurry really, but if he rejects this then I will probably go with the original offer. I don't really want to wait to get Percival though, so I'll have to drop Dye or something.

Hope you're able to complete a deal. Yeah, I'd drop Dye for Percival if negotiations take too long.

Well he rejected that trade, I guess I'll have to go back to the orignal one. If Vazquez pitches well against the Braves tomorrow though, he might be willing to change his mind. Here's hoping, but it's against Maddux.
