Prior was bumped from his scheduled Saturday start because of lingering discomfort from a collision with Marcus Giles on the basepaths July 11.
Fantasy Spin: Plan accordingly. He should be fine when he makes his next start, though.

I also was looking forward to watching that match up..I had them both in my line up for a pitching duel...but now...as Madison said..at least i might have that better shot at the win with Willis...
But then again...he is going against Wood now...mmmmmmm.......might not be all that bad to watch anyway!!

here's hoping Prior's injury is worse than it seems. This dude is an arrogant piece of crap that needs to be set in his place. An injury would do just fine. You guys might like him because you have him on fantasy teams, but I haven't hated a pitcher like him ever, and I have nothing to do with the Cubs as a Yankee fan.

I think you might be confusing arrogance with intensity. Prior is a very intense pitcher, there is no doubt about that. When you are that intense sometimes it does come across as being arrogant. To fault a guy just because he is a fierce competitor seems a little harsh to me. All we know is Prior the pitcher, none of us actually know him personally and how he acts off the field.
