I think those who expected Felix to be the ace of their staff this season were wishful-thinkingly mistaken. This year he should be a solid #3, and gain improvement as he gains experience. It is his first full season in the bigs, the M's aren't going to let him pitch 230 innings and he is going to have his ups and downs.

He'll finish the season with solid numbers. He's got elite stuff but we can't forget he's only 20 with minimal experience in the majors. The early-season disappointment so far is that his dominating performance last season led many fantasy owners to think it was always gonna be that easy, and it almost never is for young pitchers no matter how good their stuff may be.
