I hope so, grabbed him tonight. The upside is to high to ignore.

I picked up Konerko as well last week. I think he's an outstanding pickup right now. As soon as I can make the substitution on Monday, I'm going to play Konerko over Palmeiro -- unless something changes between now and then. Definitely get him.

Just out of curiosity, why does he qualify as a hot pickup? We're only talking about 2 games. Has Konerko offically been given the 1B position back over Thomas?

He's been playing first the last couple of games. Seems like he might be heating up a little. But don't get your hopes up yet...

I am not going to lie. My hopes are officially back up. I look at his last 22 at bats, and see 9 hits, with 2 HRs, and 6 RBIs. I really think the guy was too good to become this bad all of a sudden. I suppose one could wait to pick him back up. But another good game or two, and Konerko is going to be gone. I think the ceiling is high enough that buying low on him is smart.

I started the season with him and dumping him was very hard but I just grabbed him again too. I think he will have a good second half if Daubach doesn't steal too much time from him.
