Do you guys think he will go on a tear in the 2nd half? Or is he injured? Why is he not hitting the way I expected him to when I draft him #1 overall?

I took him #2 overall and I must admit that he's really irritating me right now. Hopefully he will snap out of it soon.

His neck injury probably has something to do with his lower numbers....he should pick it up in the second half...If you can get him low do it...but don't sell him low...

I read somewhere that at the all star game he hinted that his neck
was still bothering him a little. His stats reflect that. If I were an
A Rod owner, I might be looking to trade him to Renteria's owner,
particularly if that owner needs HRs. In my league that would be
me, but I wouldn't make the trade since I read that note.
You could probably package A Rod and fill 2 needs. Just a thought,
but this far into the season the stats don't lie unless there has been
a strong trend upward lately(I don't track A Rod)
