Do any Yankees fans have any info on when he's gonna be back? He's sitting on waivers right now, and I'm going to pick him up if he'll be back soon. With that offense, he could be a steal if he returns to anything near his 2004 form.

Carl Pavano (back, buttocks) threw 45 pitches Monday in his first mound session in 2 1/2 weeks.
It looks like he'll resume facing hitters on Wednsday. Pavano is expected back in the rotation sometime during the middle of May.

Adrian Beltre would be a steal if he returned to his 2004 form, but I still wouldn't take him off waivers.

Maybe it is a good idea, but Pavano screwed me last year and I'm an official Carl-hater now.
