Hideki Matsui gets a Rest

Postby CeeLoGreen » Tue Apr 18, 2006 1:58 pm

Per Yahoo:

Apr 17 Mark Feinsand, of Yankees.MLB.com, reports New York Yankees OF Hideki Matsui is expected to get a rest for one game in the team's upcoming two-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays, which begins Tuesday, April 18

Geez, you think they could tell us while game????

Anyone have any info?? I am in a daily changes roto league and would like to plug someone else in the game he doesn't play.
Basically I'm complicated.
I have a hard time taking the easy way
I wouldn't call it schizophrenia
But Ill be at least two people today

If that's OK

And I can go on, and on, and on...

But who cares?

They'll probably put him at DH. He's played, what, 1000 games in a row counting Japan? I don't think he'll sit on the bench anytime soon
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Was wondering the same... I figured it would be tonight, Tuesday, rather than Wed, as Matsui has better record against tonights lefty, compared to Lily-who looks warm- tomorrow. However SilverZ makes a damn good observation. But man I hate taking the zero If he does sit!! Peace. ---KVR

No way Torre puts Matsui on the bench. If he does Matsui will get at least 1 AB or he will put him at DH. Torre has said time and time again how much respect he has for Matsui's streak.

Looks like he is in the lineup again today. I sat Matsui yesterday thinking he would be out....C Wilson was my substitute though. Matsui hits well off Lilly, wont be today. It is bad enough that I dont when to start Freel.
