Brian Robert's stolen bases

I've tracked Roberts pretty closely the last couple of years and the pattern is: Pile up a bunch of SB in the first half then get caught a lot in the second. Two years ago, something like 23 of his 26 steals came in the first half. He was caught on 10 of 12 attempts in the second half. Last year was pretty close to the same. If he is available, he's definately worth picking up, ride him until about the AS break then ship him off to the team that is leading your league. Let them deal with the disappointment of his poor second-half performance while you pluck a nice "plum" from his roster

4 SB in 2 days! I just traded for him and was concerned about the lack of sb's too. He's taking advantage of Vic back there

Hal·la·day, n. 1. every fifth day in Philadelphia. 2. a day of rest for the bullpen. 3. innings eater. 4. doc. 5. ace.

!

Vmart sounds like the next Mike Piazza.

The O's need to play the Indians more often.
Bold Predictions:

Grady Sizemore will have more value than Jason Bay regardless of draft position

Aramis Ramirez in 155 G will hit over .300 40 HR 110 RBIs

Brian McCann will have more value than Jorge Posada regardless of draft position

Victor Martinez being a converted shortstop, you would think he would have a decent arm for a catcher.

I am very happy with Roberts lately as well, heis now hitting over .300 with 4 SB's, but Tejadan and Mora need to start hitting him in more.

I drafted Roberts in hope of a .300 average, 100 runs, and 30 stolen bases, if he wants to hit 10-15 HR's thats fine, but its not what I drafted him for.

Thanks Guru. ;-D

I just picked him up off FA. I didn't want to waste WW priority on him and he cleared. I put him right in yesterday for Weeks and I got 4 SBs already from him. :-D
