This perennial 30 SB threat has yet to even attempt a stolen base. I haven't heard of any reason, injury or otherwise, why he hasn't run at all. For a guy who had the most threads on him here at the Cafe a year ago, he sure hasn't gotten a lot of attention this year.
So why is he not running?
Bold Predictions:
Grady Sizemore will have more value than Jason Bay regardless of draft position
Aramis Ramirez in 155 G will hit over .300 40 HR 110 RBIs
Brian McCann will have more value than Jorge Posada regardless of draft position

the good news is that he already has 10 rbi's....
Your guess is as good as mine. I think the stolen bases will come in time. I know he's coming off an elbow injury and his OBP is a little low right now

Its his elbow, he said he still thinks about it so he's probably not 100% yet.

I know. Roberts was supposed to contribute to my speedy team, so seeing him lacking the SB department has been rough thus far. His OBP is under 300 in over 50 PA so far. Not good.
The 10 RBIs in nice, I just wish he could get me those steals that I drafted him for...

A lot of SB studs don't have (many) SB so far this year don't you think?
Its only been two weeks, I haven't watched every B-Rob at bat and Oriole game so I couldn't tell you if he just hasn't been in many SB situations or what.
He is fresh off an elbo injury, why mess it up sliding stealing bases if it doesn't feel 100%
I'd be more like "hey, why doesn't B-Rob have more HRs?" wait til it warms up, his elbo feels 100% and we'll all be seeing alot more of both SB and HRs.

So you don't think he'll hit 40 bombs this year?

in a heartbeat. I can't believe he's on your waiver wire. i know he got hurt but in the first half last year he was arguably the best player in the AL and while his average isn't great and he has no steals you're not going to find many other 2bs with 10 rbis right now.
