my pathetic team is in 5th, how can i improve??

well here i am 2 weeks into the season (which is 1 scoring period)
and my team is sitting in 5th.......i realize my OF is bad, and MI is
basically empty, but my pitching has not done anything special either---how can i upgrade OF bats?

sell chris shelton high. look for a good power hitting OF.

i am not trying to clown you but I have to be honest, you want my opinion, here it is. first of all are you paying attention to stats, as a A's fan I obviously would already know about dan johnson going 1/32 but if you look at his stats you will see it, get rid of him and then get better catching, even your backup catcher buck is really bad for a 10 team league.
You are good with giambi at first, but need to upgrade with kennedy at second, look for castillo or vidro.
inge is fairly good but try to get wigginton while he is still out there for a back up or starter, he is batting like .300+ and 5 hr
I like jeter for shortstop, and I like shelton very, so keep him dont listen to the guy who posted before me.
Say no to ozuna and pick up at least omar vizquel for a middle infielder
The only good player is sheffield out of you outfielder's , hurry and get Austin Kearns off the wire, and also Stewart or Langerhearns for all those jokers on your Outfield
about your bench upton wont play yet, and baldelli is on the DL and the other person ?
