Are Repko's steals for real?

I saw he has 4 steals already. He has good hitting numbers to go with them. I am not too familiar with him. Is he worth picking up? I do need steals.

Only if (when) Kenny Lofton or Drew goes on the DL again. He won't see much play time until that happens.

Oh I got ya. Although I must say one of the two going on the DL is more than likely. How is Lofton still good? That's what I want to know. Do you think he could be a decent source of steals?

Lofton is the active leader in sb's and is still a terror on the basepaths. He had an 0-4 day with no sb's but if you watched the game you know he had a MUCH better offensive game than what showed up in the stats. He basically forced a walk from the pitcher for the guy at the plate after the count had gone to 0-2 by terrorizing the pitcher into thinking he was going to run. He did everything but run over and mug the pitcher and the pitcher STILL couldn't pick him off. Did I mention the pitcher was a lefty? :D

He also had third base stolen in that same inning if not for the fact that the pitcher threw a strike on a 2 strike count and the batter had to swing, popping the ball up to end the inning. If he's healthy he's going to steal at least a base a week most weeks.
