Any trade rumors out there for TB?

Has anyone heard anything regarding possible trade talks for TB? We are only 2 or 3 trades away from being a great team with a chance to compete. I am sure something has being going on with all the talent we have to negotiate with.

Just curious if any has any good news.

Haven't read anything. I doubt there'll be much until June/July when Lugo/Huff are hopefully back and playing and traded, hopefully for more pitching.

At that point, I'd presume BJ and DY will come up and you'll see trades FOR talent in the off-season with an eye for a run in 2007/2008.

The Rays aren't winning anything this year, and I can't see management trading away prospects. But come this off-season, I think you'll see the trades/FA signings that will help fill in the 2-3 pieces they need to be a challanger.

I think we will probably see trade of Huff and Lugo this year and possibly Gathright as well. If Dukes keeps it up, it is possible that him or possibly even Baldelli could be moved for a pitcher in the offseason.
