he'll get better, but i think he'll regress from last year's numbers unless a couple of those guys step up.

he will regress but I won't be surprised if he improves his HR and AVG numbers.

Hes getting walked like mad just hes got like mike jacobs behind him. Other than the avg, which i think will skyrocket back up to .320 im kinda happy with his numbers (low hr). But if i am predicting his average to go back up to .320 than the homers/rbi/runs will come with that.
The Mets will win the World Series this year.

He should still put up good numbers.
I say a .310 avg. 30-35 HR's. The problem is he probably wont score 100 runs or hit in 100 RBI's and he wont swipe more than 5 bags.
Jacobs and Hermida need to step up. Hanley Ramirez and Josh Willingham havent been too bad but thats not exactly what I would call lineup protection, especially since none of them 2 hit directly before or after Cabrera.

yeah im not doubting that Cabrera won't put up good numbers just that I won't be surprised if his AVG and HRs go up

Hermida will post an OBP in the .360-.380 range. Jacobs, Willingham, Hermida and Hanley are all excellent prospects. Theres a good chance that 2 of them will do well this season. Great players find a way to produce no matter where they are, and Im expecting 35-100-100 with a .310 BA from Cabrera.
