I think I had just gotten the Non Prophets CD, or was looking at it or something. I got to thinking about other such names, ones that when heard aloud would make you think of one thing (i.e. non profits), but seen on paper, screen, etc. would be another.

I was thinking about it while listening to the song Makeshift Patriots and heard the end of the refrain "I hang myself at half mast" (echo half mast), and voila.

Cu, I also found out that Half Massed is a band as well, although I didn't find it out until later, and I've never heard them or heard of them since then.
