he is an extremely streaky player.

ive NEVER seen him hit like he did down the stretch last year. If you are looking for more than 15 HR, you are looking in the wrong place. In my 12 team, 25 man roster league, he has value due to stat categories (2b,3b,BB,K) but i think in a standard 5x5, he doesnt have the tools.

No word on what's, if anything, wrong with him really. Macha has sat him the last couple days to try to get him outta his funk. He'll be back in the line up tuesday but there's no telling if he's going to perform like the second half player last year. He's a sleeper.

i dropped him. wanted to wait it out, but my bench was limited too. just will keep a close eye on him. i doubt too many people have the luxury of stashing a sub200 hitter on their bench he only showed he could possibly hit in the 2nd half last year. just didnt have enough experience for me to stay with him.

if i had more room on my bench i would have kept him.

I also jacked him out. I wouldn't have minded waiting for big production from a top ranker, you have more patience, but he was never going to be that big, just a nice stocking filler.

i had my choice of polanco or belliard. i choose polanco. other than that the 2b choices were/are slim. i am trying to trade up though.

my eye is still on ellis.
