Mets fans: Brian Bannister?

What's your take on Bannister for this year? Haven't really heard of him but he has pitched reasonably well the first 3years, albeit 2 of them against Washington. Will he serviceable in 12team mixed league? Would you consider him a better option than David Bush? Thanks in advance

He should get 12 or so wins if he keeps pitching like he has. He was off today, very wild and inefficient, but he worked out of some major jams.

He could be solid this year and probably worth a spot unless he blows up which is possible but I'm not predicting it. I don't know enough about Bush to say.

I'll get him and drop Oliver Perez if Ollie's next start is bad.

Bannister is good. Great offense behind him and a mediocre defense. But hell give you decent stats.

I'll start Bannister next week @SD (vs Woody).

I like the kid but I wouldn't expect him to put up Mark Fidrych rookie numbers. His dad was a MLB pitcher. You can see the guy has some baseball smarts the way he switched up his pitch patterns when he faced Washington for the second time.

I'm a Bush fan, however, I want to see how he fares @Hou and vsCin before I can get an accurate read on him.

Banniser didn't look nearly as sharp today as he did in his first two starts. In those two starts he looked great, today he looked very shaky. He loaded the bases multiple times and was somehow able to get out of jams. His stuff is good not great, fastball tops out at about 90 and he has a pretty nice curve. Today he was not in total control though. I think he'll have a solid season though, and will be worth owning in a 12-team league.

His stuff is pretty ordinary. Sell high if you can, because I'm pretty sure this guy starts getting drilled before long.

If the Brewers were a more patient hitting team he'd have let in 6 or 7 runs yesterday. They kept swinging at balls out of the strike zone with runners on and not driving in runs. He basically had nothing out there.

Bannister doesn't throw over 83 MPH. Brewers did him a huge favor by trying to hit every pitch out of the park. I think they left like 10 men on base through 4 innings.

With a more patient team, Bannister would have given up at least 4 runs in this game probably more. I don't think he's a very good option in fantasy leagues.
