Could anyone tell me what's the story with the Giants and what will happen when Benitez comes back? Will Worrell keep the job or do they give it to Benitez?

Worrell is pitching better than a Benitez wet dream but I fear that the big bux they are giving Benitez will be the deciding factor!

There was actually a spot in the Mercury News today, Felipe said that if Worrell is still pitching well by the time Benitez came back, they may ease Benitez back into the closer role by having him pitch set up for a little while... do a search though, there was a thread about this a couple days ago with some good talk in it.

Benitez will have to work himself back into the closer's spot by pitching some middle relief. If he looks especially sharp or if Worrell has a couple of bad outings, he should regain closing duties -- he simply is being paid too much to not to be the closer for too long.
