Whoa! Mike Maroth is UNHITTABLE!

He was touted as a good young pitcher a few years back, then fizzled (can't really blame him, especially on those dynamite Tigers teams...). Anyhoo, he has 2 nice starts this season, both against decent lineups (TEX, CLE). Any chance at all he keeps pitching well? Tigers fans, let me hear what you think...

No, he's not really good at any aspect of pitching (edit: although I guess he doesn't go out of his way to walk guys). He's great against Cleveland over the last year though, so spot start him in AL only leagues? He's a back of the rotation innings filler who I would be very pleased to get a 4.50 era out of this year.

He's sort of a poor man's Jamie Moyer (when Moyer was good). As mentioned he is mostly a good left handed innings eater. Hopefully Kenny Rogers, who is a very similar and more experienced pitcher, will help him improve a little this year. Of course, I'm not hoping for too much there, but it's not out of the question.
