Vernon Wells... Monster numbers this year????

I thought he was usually a slow starter? Do you think with this hot start we should see a boost in his numbers this year?

Id expect an increase in numbers not due to his hot start but rather the improved lineup around him with the new additions of Glaus and Molina

I predicted a monster season in 05 but it didn't come. As Giants said, the addition of Molina and Glaus will help. Also they got Overbay and Rios seems to be breaking out.

Wells credits his fast start to the preparation he had for the WBC.

I tried very hard to get him after missing out in the draft.

Wells trained since november. He trained so much it hurt him. Worked on his bat speed and so on. I grabed him in the 4th round, but traded him for coco and CC( the day before coco breaks his finger :-t )
ThA KinG : 55 points - tied for first place

I was about to have him, but I kept rearranging my queue before that pick, and I was clicking faster than Yahoo was reacting. After about a dozen clicks, it started going into some rapid-fire refreshing for 10 seconds and I couldn't get my Vernon Wells pick in... ended up with friggin Chipper Jones :~(
