I re-read the contest thread and there was nothing ever said about it only being limited to starting pitchers. Though everyone did a pitcher(even me) except for one. The only thing ever stated that was overlooked was that we would allow starters from the Twins/Blue Jays game on Tuesday.

If 15 out of 16 people did pitchers I think it's pretty obvious that when you said starters everyone though it had to be a starting pitcher. Typically if you talk about a starter you're talking about pitchers.

For example you'd say "Curt Schilling is the opening day starter." I don't think anyone would say "Manny Ramirez is the opening day starter."

It doesn't really matter anymore now anyways though.
