I don't keep up with the minors that much, how is orvella doing down there? How soon until the call up?
Miceli has been a mess lately and the need for a closer is endging me to think that it might be sooner then later.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

the d-rays cant stick with miceli much longer and no one else really seems to be impressing in the pen.

wouldn;t be too worried about him not closing in the minors. i'm guessing they just want him to log IP whever he can to get him straight and then bring him up.

Orvella blows just as much as Miceli does imo. So I don;t see either as much of an option in mixed leagues.

The previous opinion cannot be backed up with facts. Orvella is an exciting young pitcher who is the future long term closer.
That's highly debatable. Fact is, Orvella is likely not the long term closer if he stays in the TB org. Can't say what happens if he gets moved at some point, but the guy this org likes as their future closer is Juan Salas. He's in AA right now, and they're hoping he does well enough to get a mid-season promo to Durham.
This is not my opinion, but comes from a source within that organization. They see Orvella as more of a setup guy.
