What are the Cafe's thoughts on Andy LaRoche?

I like him, just not in that ballpark. He seems to be able to hit the gaps very well and has decent speed. 3rd isn't as shallow as it used to be though.

I think he will become a fine ML ball player. I don't think he will become the superstar that Alex Gordon will, but I think he will be good enough to make a few All Star games in his career. He should be able to hit 30 homers with a 280 average in the bigs.

I would say 07. He might get a look later this year, but not enough to make an impact.
