I know that he has been out for the last 3 games. However, even when he was in, the 10 day span was not too encouraging. Anyone have any ideas of what to expect from him for the rest of the year? Anyone want to rethink the ROY prediction?

I don't want to rethink the ROY yet. The good thing is that even when he wasn't hitting for a strong average he was still getting on base and the guys who hit behind him are doing pretty well right now. I would look for him to pick it up when he comes back and be able to still hit 20/20 this year.

The most encouraging thing for Hermida owners is that no matter how rough he looks right now, there is very little threat to send him down to the minors b/c he is very ML-ready relative to most of the organization.
TennCare rocks!!!!

He's been a pretty patient hitter so far (6BB:7K). He's got the talent to turn it around. I think .290-20hr-15sb is realistic.[/url]

You can look for it, but you won't find it, unless you can find a needle in a hay stack that is. He will go 10/10 at best this season.
