Alright, so I used a late-round flyer on him in two leagues this season, citing his second half numbers last year:

7 wins, 59 K, 2.22 ERA, 1.01 WHIP in 109 innings.

He just had his third solid start in a row to start 2006 giving him a line of:

2-0, 21 K, 1.50 ERA, 1.28 WHIP in 18 innings.

Is he back or should we all ship him away for what we can?

Good question. My biggest question is how he has managed to strike out over a batter per inning.

If I owned him, I would try and sell high.

No way does his value get any higher than right now. Shop him around to see what you can get for him.

Last night he had the most generous strike zone I've ever seen working for him, so I'd take the K's with a grain of salt at the very least.

He's locating his pitches extremeley well right now. Throwing inside & out. Kept a lot of the Brewers off balance and guessing yesterday. He's also throwing a curve now too.

Probably right in saying his value will never be higher than it is now but he looks good. I expect between 15-18 wins out of him this year.

I still think he's a better pitcher than his numbers show the past couple of years. He's a HOF in my book :-°

I'm not sold on Glavine yet.

He faced Milwaukee and Florida, which are the teams that have scored the fewest runs so far, and Washington offense isn't all that good either.
If he can shut down the Braves next time, I would be inclined to say that he is solid.

FWIW, he pitched VERY well at the end of 2005. I think he made some adjustments which may explain his recent success.

The Braves are tops in the league in runs scored right now and I believe that Glavine does not pitch well against his old team...

That should be a good barometer indeed....and I face him next week in HTH... :-[
