Umm...I don't see how any competitive FBB owner can say spot starting is wrong. Its a strategy. Thats like saying IO cheated because I have not drafted a pitcher by the 10th round, or I am cheating by punting saves so I don't draft closers andf thus have better players at other positions. These are all strategies and they are all perfectly legit and have been used for years.

If you think they are wrong you are either

A. Are a FBB rookie, or

B. Are being pounded by the owner who uses spot starting and don't wanna admit it so you are claiming he is cheating.

I spot start my #5 starter in my cafe dynasty league right now because Lowry went on the DL and obviously with 16 teams the WW is VERY thin for starters (we have a 5 starting pitcher rotation). My ERA for the week is like 5.23 or something of that sort, not working too well right now but I doubt I will stop until Lowry comes back.

its called pitch or ditch, alot of people do it, i do it about twice a week and it works well and if you pick the right matchups, its money. Its not cheating its a startegy that works if you know how to do it...

I didn't read the whole thread, but if there is no IP limit, yeah I'd complain. If there is a limit, let him bury himself.
