Well this guy in my league constantly makes moves. I've been looking at his last few moves and he's only been picking up pitchers who are projected to start the next day, and after they start, he drops them and picks up another who is projected to start the next day, and seems to be continuing this pattern. It can easily help him win the Wins and K's category while possibly hurting his ERA. What do you guys think of this?
we had a person do that last year in my league...he made something like over 300 moves last year and was in first all year n lost in the championship. That strategy is really cheap and This year we have a 50 move limit...
In one of my h2h leagues we have a 75 move limit for the regular season and a 5 move limit for the playoffs. The day the playoffs start I will reset everone to 0 moves and then change the max moves to 5
Yeah, I realized that after reading the Ethics topic. Thing is this guy is complaining that ive made too many moves, mainly just batters, and 3 trades, when he seems to be doing this.

My league goes to zero moves come H2H playoffs. The most ready team going in wins (or so we like to think) We prevent churning by making each Add/Drop and Trade cost $1 that goes into the pot after 10 freebees, so rarely do we get more than the mid-20s, maybe low 30s total in a season. It really works great without putting a hardline limitation on moves, because if a guy wants to shell out $300 to Add a SP every day, then I'll just enjoy taking his money
Spot-starting is totally fair and ethical, if there are no prior rules set to prevent it. Most leagues will have an IP total or transaction total to keep this from happening... but in a standard h2h yahoo league, there are no such rules.
It's eventually going to catch up with him. Any starter with actual skill will be gone by the break... rotating guys like Lidle will only get you so far.

My league opted for 5 moves rather than zero for the playoffs. This allows for coverage due to injuries or starters that get shut down late in the year. The playoffs essentially last for a month and zero is pretty harsh if you get an injury. Just my $.02
