Someone dropped Bonds and I snagged him for this reason. Next week he plays at Coors and Arizona.
I did some crunching and here are his career stats v.s. his opposing pitchers next week.
.380
HR 18
RBI 49
BB 48
Preatty good I would say. Can you say bust out the juicing stick!

Whoever dropped him is a moron. If you want to bench him until he heats up, fine. Dropping him when there is no apparent DL time imminent is foolishness.

He still is an aging dinosaur whose knee is suspect. The opposition is keeping tha ball low and away. They don't care if they walk him. In those parks I would think the startegy will continue.
If Bonds goes off next week then two pitching coaches should be fired.

This is by far the worst post I've seen in a while.

Keep him on your bench.
Now the disease is spreading to fantasy advice.

It's a "disease" now? Tell you what nuggets. I will never type 'Bonds' again if you promise to never type 'media' ever again. Or 'they' and 'them' for that matter. I'm tired of both sides, pro and con Barry. Let the man play and let the judges rule.

Only an idiot would flat out drop a player like Bonds less than 2 weeks into the season.
If I see anyone that dumb and reactionary, the first thing I do is look over their roster to see what good players I can get off of them on the cheap, the second said player goes into a slump.

I wasn't willing to draft Bonds unless he fell to round 20 this year. To huge of a risk, and the guy would be drafted in round 8 or higher.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike
