He hit .290 and .307 in two seasons with COL. He also hit a lot of 2B which should turn into some HRs. He's a pretty good hitter with decent pop.

Holliday is a great platoon guy: a superstar at home and a scrub on the road. I think people drafted him higher than usual this year based either on his strong second half last season or believing that he can finally put it together on the road; unfortunately his relatively high draft position prevented me from drafting him in every league. It's a shame, really, because I enjoyed playing him at Coors the past two seasons.

i now have him as my number 3 OF of five (Berk, Gomes, Griffey, Bradley the other 4) and think he will bust out this season.

I do think most sites over estimated his value as some had him in the top 50 overall. This may be a stretch but getting him as late as I was able to (pick 109) I think he will live up to potiental.

Think he's going to move back into the cleanup spot, Rockies fans? RBI opps should be similar between 4 and 5, but the Rockies' lineup after Hawpe sucks.

I'd like to look much further ahead than the next 9 games... as I'm sure many others will.... if anything, this homestand could give owners false interpretations of what to expect from Holliday over 162 game span... :*)

While I agree that I want to look further ahead then 9 games, I am really glad this 9 game homestand was pointed out. As a Holliday owner, I will give him at least this stretch before benching or shopping him.

I'm not so sure how 'cheap' Liriano may end up being, compared to your 5th OF... :-°
