Molina faces another righty today in Jose Contreras. The Jays benched him yesterday cuz Clement was pitching. (another righty).

With Gregg Zaun playing well, anyone know if Molina's playing tonight, and going forward, if he'll be the main guy?

Zaun has played only 2 games which would be the normal days played for a backup catcher. Zaun has hit good but Molina hasn't hit that bad either. I think Molina will play 5-6 games per week with Zaun maybe getting one start per week. I have both B.Molina and Zuan as my 2 catchers. Zaun started hot last year but cooled off after a few months. I would expect Molina to be the main catcher all year until he gets injuried. Molina always is injuried at least once ever year. So, Zaun does have some value and that is why I got him as my 2nd catcher.

I haven't heard if Molina is starting tonight for sure. I would guess Molina will start tonight.

Well maybe Molina is injuried already. Zaun is starting again tonight.

No, Molina only starts against lefties, as I have come to learn....

No, that's not true at all. Molina is the main catcher and plays against right and left hand pitchers. I think Molina is a little hurt or they just want to get a couple games for Zaun to get going. Molina is batting over .400 with 2 HR's.
