Thanks for your input. I still think trading Big Papi for a solid pitcher is a good plan. You should be able to get terrific value for him from someone who is offensively challenged but deep in pitching. Peavy's value is low right now only because he has had a couple bad outings in a row. Difficulty is that he was probably drafted so high that his owner is unlikely to give him up. Good luck.
