Weighted Park Factors, 2003-2005:

Code: Select all
Team             R        H        2B       HR       BB       SO
Colorado         1.34     1.22     1.22     1.24     1.08     0.92
Colorado Springs 1.11     1.02     0.92     1.01     0.88     0.83

Common sense says you should be right acsg, but now I'm rethinking his potential. All of his HR have come on the road, if he keeps a decent average there I guess watch out.

Anyone else heard rumblings about the humidors at Coors causing the ball to be "dead", or even wet as some pitchers describe it?

How do you guys feel about dropping Sweeney for him?
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

Mike "DL Machine" Sweeney? I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole. The guy could go on the DL by opening his eyes in the morning.

I'm considering dumping Hermida for Hawpe, in my keeper, but I'm not completely sold on either, and unsure about already having Holliday in my OF... time to look deeper into these numbers I guess... :-D

hermida for hawpe could be risky, hermida looks to be a very good player in the near future, but hawpe could also be that player....if your going to do it...now is the time because someone else will most likely grab him since he is rising to the top of a lot of charts (stat charts that is)

No don't drop Hermida in a keeper. I also have Holliday and Hawpe. In addtion to Atkins.

I would hang onto Hermida. He has a much higher ceiling than Hawpe. He could put up 20/20 this year even with the slow start.
