reyes would get the spot if ponson blows up. ponson just went 6.1, 2er, 1bb, 4k so i dont think anything is likely to happen soon. injury or a trade to a different team would seem to be the way for reyes to get promoted. its pretty unlikely the cards trade him though. i also think its unlikely the cards trade a starting pitcher to free up a space for reyes.
