If he becomes a starter do you expect him to be of the dominate type, like an Oswalt or something, or do you expect him to become mediocre because hitters will see more of his stuff?
Can't tell till it happens, but his minor league stats were awesome. The AL East is a tough division to get broken in as a starter, though.
Papelbon has been the most dominant MLB closer so far this season, and as long as he keeps dominating like he is, Boston can't afford to stop using him as their closer. And no other MLB team would yank him as their closer either with a 0.00 ERA and 0.20 WHIP like he is currently sporting.
I don't see Foulke closing again for the Sox unless something unfortunate happens to Papelbon. I can't imagine they would pay him much money in '07 for what he's doing now. It'd be nice if they could work out a trade deal.

While I hope Papelbon continues to dominate, you have to wonder what happens the first time he blows a save. He obviously won't continue at 0.00 era and .20 whip.
