South Park-Cartman

Postby shpuck » Thu Apr 13, 2006 4:53 pm

Hi all,

There's something about South Park that's been bugging me for some time. I've recently gotten back into watching it by using my DVR to record the episodes on one of the local channels here. Every so often, a newer episode is shown. I've noticed that Cartman's voice is different now, and was wondering why. Did they get someone to "try" to talk like Cartman, or is Trey still doing it, but changed the timbre?

It's been bugging me and making me not really want to watch the newer episodes. Any insight would be great.

I have to agree, his voice has changed. It's a bit more reserved than it used to be, but that's often what happens over time when a cartoon lasts as long as South Park has.

It's fun to watch some of the old Simpsons. Completely different than the more recent ones and not just the technology.

Their mouths moving and the words being said weren't even close to on time. Homer's voice was really different then.

i think that is the key to their success. i doubt the simpsons would have lasted this long if the show had stayed on bart.
