they wanted to get Cirillio into the game so he could go 0-5. Hopefuly they realize Weeks shouldn't be taken out of the lineup.

1-1(1.000) with a single and a stolen base. Not bad for 5 minutes of work.

further, they let cirillo hit in the two hole, hardy day off as well, while Weeks has to hit in the bottom half of the order.. :-t

Weeks is not in the lineup today.

I hope it's only cause he doesn't hit the ball so well since the last days.

It is not at all unusual for teams to rest players on a Sunday day game after a Saturday night game.
