Yea hes 2nd in the leage in sb

but he has 0 rbi or hr and has a mere 5 hits on the season.... all singles. it looked like he would turn it around after his proformance in the wbc.,.....guess not. Any hope for him this year at all?

It depends what you're looking for him to do. If you are looking for 2004 numbers I think that you will be sadly dissapointed but if you are looking for 22 HR's and 85 RBI and drafted him later in your draft then I'm sure you'll be fine.

His production this year reminds me of Aubrey Huff from last year.

Wow just like every other year he played accept for the year he was "not" on steroids

You mean "WAS" on steriods. Beltre is a rare exampe of a stiff that will take his owners down for 2 successive years.

He is the type of guy that will always be drafted due to his one awesome season. See Hidalgo, Brady Anderson, etc.

yeah and unforunately Beltre won't ever relive his 2004 season again

Yep, people will always remember 2004 and dream wistfully of a return to glory while ignoring EVERY OTHER YEAR of his career which has him as a 20-25 HR guy. But, who knows, maybe a blind squirrel can find two acorns.
