Then too bad you didn't get that W and 1.29 ERA today :~( I guess you're really the fantasy genius.

I really don't understand why people cut perfectly good pitchers after one or two bad starts. In the case of Duke, he only had one bad start. In his first game he gave up 1 ER through 6 IP.

I've stuck with him and will continue to do so.

I'm with every one of you that will stick with Duke through thick and thin. I've got him signed long term in my league and will live with a few mediocre starts while he straightens things out on the mound. I would much rather see him throwing healthy in another year or two rather than sitting on the DL for over half the year each and every year (I'm looking straight at you Kerry Wood and Mark Prior).

hindsight...

I cut Duke cause I needed the room and he was the most expendable... He plays for a bad team, got lite up all spring and is still working on his mechanics. He had a good day yesterday, but I still think I made the right move in my non-keeper...

Good Luck.

I wouldn't go around bragging about that.
"One of the teams represents truth, justice, the American way, and underdogs everywhere. The other represents George Steinbrenner!" - U.S. News and World Reports columnist John Leo on the difference between the Mets and the Yankees.
