Griffey finally got healthy over this offseason, it was a normal one instead of rehabbing, so hopefully he will bounce back soon and strong. I like the guy too, I would be rooting for him even if he wasn't on my team

He said that it was just stiff behind his knee, it happened during BP when he was chasing fly balls, and it's not serious.

I'm pretty sure it's not true, especially if you heard it on ESPN's fantasy baseball message board. Someone is clowning around over there making stuff up under multiple user names ...

Ken Griffey Jr. indicated he was questionable for Thursday after leaving Wednesday's game with right knee stiffness.
"We're going to come in and see tomorrow," he said. Griffey said the knee initially began bothering him while shagging flies before the game. "It didn't really bother me. It just tightened up a little bit. That was it," Griffey said. If Griffey can't play on Thursday, Ryan Freel figures to start.

Incidentally, Griffey's knee trouble last year was his left knee.

This time, he has tweaked his right knee.

So this would not be an aggravation of previous injury.

Which is good news.

I'm in Chicago on vacation, and I went to the Cubs-Reds game today eager to see Junior. (My friend and I grew up in Seattle, where he was a god.) He wasn't in the lineup. And I was pissed.
